Your Response

If we all share just one story with one other person, we will have taken a huge step towards keeping the memory alive.

You can get involved with the Memory Makers project by sharing the experiences of a survivor with your friends and family.

We also encourage you to create and submit your own artistic response to the life stories of genocide survivors, in the same way that our Memory Makers artists are doing. Using the form below you can send your response in a range of formats, whether that’s photographs, digital images, scans of paintings, collages or illustrations, videos, pieces of writing or sound files.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, how much artistic experience you have, or whether you’re working alone or in a group – we’d love to hear from you.

All artwork we receive will be reviewed by our team, and the best public responses will be showcased in an online gallery – check back for updates as the project progresses.

Take a look at our Activity Sheet to help you get started. If you have any questions about getting involved please email us on
